Once I get an Adrienne Vaughan book in my hands, I know from page one that the book will take me away to far off places without me leaving my sofa. This is an emotionally charged story with a heart and soul feel from deep within the passion of the pages, add great adventure, secrets, lies and betrayal, that leads you so close into the characters lives you cannot help but become involved and read on for the outcome to a breathtaking and at times suspenseful story.

Fur Coat & No Knickers by Adrienne Vaughan

From reading the catchy title of this book you will be captivated into a wonderfully told collection of short stories. Words beautifully created, with realistic situations and characters. Touching tales at times, with twists and turns that are emotionally moving.

I enjoyed each and every word of this book. There is a poetic interlude between each story, making it so easy to read the book in one sitting. I especially liked the link in poetry to the authors other book titles too as I think all Adrienne Vaughan books are just fabulous.

Secrets of the Heart by Adrienne Vaughan

Marianne Coltrane is looking forward to finally settling down with her movie star partner, Ryan O’Gorman on the remote Irish island of Innishmahon. With its small population it is the perfect place for them to escape the constant pursuit of the paparazzi, and all that comes from being in the public eye when you are a famous movie star.

All does not go to plan and soon they are caught up in the real life drama of life. When a storm hits that could tear the couple apart, they are faced with life changing decisions and Ryan shows just how committed he is to Marianne and what is he is willing to risk for them to be together. Marianne must face her own commitment fears and have faith in their love.

This is the final instalment of the wonderful Heartfelt Trilogy of books. Although the books can be read as standalone books, I highly recommend that readers read each of these wonderful books. The island of Innishmahon provides a beautiful setting for the books, and the characters really pull you into the heart of the story. This is so much more than a romance story; it is an action and adventure story too.  I will really miss my escape to Innishmahon, and all the warmth and comfort the isle gives the reader in a remarkable read.  

   

A Change of Heart (The Heartfelt Series # 2) by Adrienne Vaughan

Marianne is already busy making plans and preparing for their new life. The couple also face further trouble when Angelique, Ryan’s ex-wife and mother of his son turns up demanding also that Ryan sticks to the terms of their marriage contract. From the colourful characters of the community of Innishmahon to the beautiful isle itself, which thanks to the wonderful writing of author Adrienne Vaughan I loved my escape to Ireland. This was so much more than sitting reading a book this is a book that is so real that it pulls you in and you feel you are no longer a reader but an invisible observer walking through the story with all the characters, following their story, and what an amazing story it is. This is a book you will find never as a dull moment and you will not be able to stop turning the pages.  I cannot wait to read the next book and see what further adventures await.

Finding Ryan to be both ignorant and arrogant she does not want to have anything to do with him. But when he comes to her rescue and then circumstances keep on throwing this unlikely couple together could life have other plans for Marianne?

This book is not only a romantic love story but it is also full of adventure and packed with drama. Sometimes it can be a little too much when a lot of tragic events happen in one book, but I found the way this book is written it just leaves you wanting to read more, and it makes you really care about the leading character Marianne.  It gives good background to the character too.  I really liked the wonderful cast of characters of the Island of Innishmahon, which added to the interest of the story. There is never a dull moment in this book making it a lively and action packed read. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.
