How Do You Voodoo? by Janice Horton

Nola Nichols is a top model. She had broken free from her humble beginnings in Glasgow and turned her life around and was now a national icon, who models for the top UK designers, make-up manufacturers and prestigious car companies.

Nola’s life is great, until on a flight back to the UK from the Caribbean, she is rude to a fellow woman passenger, angry words are exchanged. Not long after this incident things start to go wrong for Nola, she begins to lose her looks when strange happenings occur.

Could be that the woman on the plane Nola exchange words with as put a Voodoo curse on her?

With less than a week to a big important photo shoot, Nola must act fast to find the woman and have the curse removed. Will she find a lot more than she is looking for?

A superb novella from author Janice Horton an interesting storyline about a character who thinks she as it all but learns there is something missing. I really enjoyed the story and I thought it was really well written and very entertaining too. The book can easily be read in one sitting. This the first book by Janice Horton I have read and I look forward to reading more.

Janice Horton lives in Scotland. She writes fiction with humour and heart with a hint of tartan. Look out for her Amazon Kindle bestselling eBooks ‘Bagpipes & Bulls hot’ and ‘Reaching for the Stars’ as well as her magically romantic novellas ‘How Do You Do Voodoo?’ and Voodoo Wedding.

Janice is a regular blogger and you’ll also find her on Facebook and Twitter. When not writing novels, Janice writes lifestyle articles and has had work published in national and international magazines and regional newspapers. She has also been involved in BBC Scotland’s ‘Write Here Write Now’ She is a member of the Romantic Novelist Association and also a featured author and editor of Bookshelf Reviews at the innovative magazine style website Loveahappyending Lifestyle.
