Nola Nichols is a top model. She had broken free from her
humble beginnings in Glasgow and turned her life around and was now a national
icon, who models for the top UK designers, make-up manufacturers and
prestigious car companies.
Nola’s life is great, until on a flight back to the UK from
the Caribbean, she is rude to a fellow woman passenger, angry words are
exchanged. Not long after this incident things start to go wrong for Nola, she
begins to lose her looks when strange happenings occur.
Could be that the woman on the plane Nola exchange words
with as put a Voodoo curse on her?
With less than a week to a big important photo shoot, Nola
must act fast to find the woman and have the curse removed. Will she find a lot
more than she is looking for?
A superb novella from author Janice Horton an interesting
storyline about a character who thinks she as it all but learns there is
something missing. I really enjoyed the story and I thought it was really well
written and very entertaining too. The book can easily be read in one sitting.
This the first book by Janice Horton I have read and I look forward to reading
more.
