Sonnet of a Housewife and other poems by Vickie Adair

Vickie Adair over the years wrote poems for herself more as a means of therapy than for publication, recently she was persuaded to release them to her publisher. Lucky for us poetry lovers she decided to share them because here we have a nice collection of poetry.  Some of the poems capture raw human feeling and emotion and you can really sense the essence of mood in which is captured beautifully in the poems also when she is tapping into memories of the past when she was writing her poetry.  Some of the poems are really moving and some are funny. It is poetry about living, about been human. Some of the topics she covers are age, death, tragedy and loneliness. There are some wonderful photographs of nature that go along side the poems.

A great little book of poetry even if you are not a great poetry lover there will be a poem in the book, which you can relate to.

Vickie Adair teachers writing and works as a freelance writer. Her first publication was an illustrated children’s book called Once upon a Tooth . . . A Fairy’s Tale.
