Sophie’s Run by Nicky Wells

Part 2 in the Rock Star Romance Trilogy

Sophie Penhalligan thinks she has found her soul mate, the only trouble is that she just has not met him properly yet. It happens when Sophie is singing in the choir and it is like Cupid drew back his bow and his arrow struck Sophie, when she spots Steve Jones a fellow choir member and their eyes lock on each other. Sophie describes this as a thunderbolt and lightening moment. Best friend Rachel and rock god Dan are there for Sophie in what becomes the start of quite an adventure for Sophie, especially when she meets Steve again in the most unexpected circumstances. What follows is an up and down emotional journey for Sophie, were friendships and relationships will be tested.

I really was looking forward to catching up with Sophie again because she is such a likeable character and I was not disappointed. Sophie’s Run is another sensational novel from author Nicky Wells.  An entertaining read from beginning to end. There is such a lot that happens in this book and to the character, things really develop in the plot line and I really enjoyed the new characters which were introduced in this book. I cannot wait to go on and read book three, Sophie’s Encore which will be out later this year.
